The Columbia County Fairgrounds is seeking motivated, hands‑on individuals to join our Seasonal Facilities Maintenance team in preparation for the 2026 Columbia County Fair.

The Columbia County Fairgrounds is seeking motivated, hands‑on individuals to join our Seasonal Facilities Maintenance team in preparation for the 2026 Columbia County Fair.
Requirements
- Previous experience in building maintenance, landscaping, farming, or similar work preferred.
- Knowledge and experience using general maintenance and landscape tools.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, including THC.
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License and insurable driving record.
- Mow and maintain lawns and grounds throughout the fairgrounds.
- Clean and disinfect barns, facilities, and equipment.
- Operate landscape and general maintenance tools.
- Perform general building maintenance and minor repairs.
- Assist with fairground preparation prior to and during the Fair.
- Other duties as assigned in support of fairground operations.

- May – August 1, 2026
- 6–8 workers needed, all able to start on or by June 15, 2026
- Starts part‑time (15–20 hours per week), with hours increasing as the Fair approaches.
- $18.00 per hour
- Free Fair parking pass during the Columbia County Fair
